Job Description
We are seeking a Senior CAD Designer to join our Mumbai jewellery studio. The candidate will lead the 3D design and technical drawing workflow for high end jewellery collections, collaborating with designers, gemologists, and artisans to ensure craftsmanship excellence from concept to production.
Responsibilities
- Create and refine 3D jewellery designs using industry standard CAD software. - Develop technical drawings, manufacturing files, and BOMs for production. - Collaborate with design, gemology, and workshop teams to ensure feasibility and quality. - Prepare renderings and presentation visuals for client reviews. - Iterate designs based on feedback, cost targets, and production constraints. - Maintain version control and documentation for all CAD files. - Assist with prototype reviews and fit checks during sample development.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in jewellery CAD design. - Strong proficiency in jewellery CAD software and 3D modeling. - Excellent understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes and limitations. - Ability to translate design concepts into production ready files. - Strong attention to detail and a collaborative mindset.
