How to get hired
- Inventory or stores experience, ideally in jewellery or another high value retail business.

Inventory executives move up to inventory or stock controller, then to warehouse or supply chain manager for a retail chain. Experience with audits also leads into internal audit roles. Retail chains with many branches promote proven inventory staff fast.
